Kid-Friendly Closet Help children get the hang of getting dressed and staying organized by adapting a closet to their needs. Use an adjustable closet kit so you can configure everything low to the ground and then rearrange as your child grows. Using double hanging rods brings clothing down to your child’s level and still provides maximum storage. Put everyday clothes on the lower rod for children to pick out their own outfits and put dressier clothes on the top rod. Reserve higher shelves for storing out of season clothing, hand-me-downs your child has yet to grow into, sleeping bags and extra blankets. Store the out-of-season clothes and hand-me-downs in labeled storage boxes with lids to keep contained and clean. Lower shelves can house shoes and accessories for easy access by your child. Store hair accessories, scarves, gloves, etc in labeled storage containers. |
