How to Organize in Every Room in the House with a Shoe Organizer
A hanging shoe organizer doesn’t have to be limited to storing shoes. Here are some great ways to put this clutter-collecting marvel to use in almost every room in the house:
BATHROOM Neatly store hairbrushes, beauty and hair products, extra soap, cotton balls, and small bath toys.
MUDROOM OR BY THE DOOR Avoid the frantic morning hunt for gloves, scarves, hats, dog leashes and compact umbrellas by storing them in a hanging shoe organizer in your mudroom or by the back door. A canvas organizer is a good choice for this, as it allows damp items to be ventilated.
REC OR FAMILY ROOM A clear shoe organizer in the rec room can hold remotes, extra batteries, small games, playing cards and chips, pool cue chalk and ping pong balls.
KITCHEN Hang an organizer on the back of the pantry door for kitchen gadgets such as cooking scissors, a garlic press, a cheese grater or for small pantry items such as gelatin and pudding boxes, envelopes of mixes and bottles of sauces.
NURSERY In the nursery, hang a shoe organizer by the changing table so diapers, wipes, lotions, ointments and cotton swabs are within easy reach.
KID’S BEDROOM A shoe organizer hung in a child’s room or in the closet can hold action figures, small games, art supplies, swim goggles or hair accessories.
HOME OFFICE A hanging organizer can eliminate clutter in the home office by keeping supplies off your desk, such as the stapler, tape, pens, pencils, scissors, rulers, letter opener, phone chargers, and small calculators.
MASTER BEDROOM The obvious use in the master bedroom is shoes, but a hanging organizer could contain jewelry, socks, scarves, and gloves.
Bet you thought shoe organizers were just for shoes! |
